I live in Michigan. However, when I read the title, I thought sarcastically, "What. They're going to celebrate Earth Day by giving away coffee in disposable cups? Then I thought, unless it's with travel mugs..."

Actually, from what I understand, most Starbucks will give so much off a cup of coffee if a travel mug is brought in. Also, Speedway gas stations do it too, and I think other gas stations. The only time I get coffee out is when we travel, so i bring a couple of mugs. Not only do I not like drinking out of trash, but I like to save money. Even if it's "only" a dime. Even better because most of my travel mugs were free.

I normally dont like Starbucks but on days like these I am willing to give it another try. How bad would it look if I were to go in there with my TIM HORTONS or SECOND CUP or TIMOTHY'S branded travel mugs? :laugh:
