I can't believe it, I just found this out about bread making.

If you have a KA and mix your bread for 6 minutes, you do not need to let it rise. You form into loaves and let rise in the bread loaf pan, roughly 1 hour and thats it.

Also the same goes for a Bosch machine. You don't have to let the dough rise either, only in the bread pans.

I'm going to do this next time I bake bread, which will be tomorrow.

Really????? I didn't know that either! I will definitely try that the next time I make bread. :)

I have a Bosch but I do let it rise in the bowl once. After the first rising I put it in my pans. I was doing it the other way like you suggested but I found that my breads were lighter if I let it do the first rising in the bowl and then let it rise in the pans.

Did you try it CJ? Did it work?

Darlene, I've often thought of it but have never done it because I grind my own wheat and with doing that, the bread needs a couple of risings because of the heaviness of it.

I'm wondering if anyone else tried this though with regular flour.
