Does anyone have a recipe to make crusty bread or rolls? I really like the rolls that are a little hard on top and chewy.

First, just to let you know we now have a seperate bread making forum under Country Kettle. I'll move this over there after.

Here is the bread recipe I always use. You can divide it up and make a couple loaves of bread along with a couple batches of buns. We love the crusts just like you like them, and this recipe makes it that way. Also in order to have a crisp crust, do not put butter or oil on the top of the loaf once it is cooked.
