An old favorite from years and years ago.
WHOLE WHEAT ROLLS
Dissolve:
2 pkg. yeast
3/4 c. water
Combine in large bowl:
3 c. warm water
1 c. dry milk powder
1/2 c. marg, oil or shortening
2 eggs
1/3 c. sugar
2 t. salt
Add yeast mixture
Heav ready:
6 c. whole wheat flour
4 c. white flour
Add 6 c. flour then 3 c. Turn onto board and add remaining flour. Knead for approx. 8 mins. Let rise; make into buns. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.
