Laundry additives
bleach alternative 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide to regular washload. H2O2 is safe on all colors and fabrics except silks and fabric with metallic threads
brightener 1/2 cup borax to regular washload
detergent booster 1/2 cup washing soda to regular washload
odor control (musty, perspiration, etc.) 1/2 cup vinegar to regular washload
all purpose prewash spot remover (spray & wash) Hydrogen peroxide and liquid dish soap
general stain remover straight hydrogen peroxide rubbed on with a cotton ball
blood stains straight hydrogen peroxide rubbed on with a cotton ball
grease stains paste of borax and water
perspiration stains paste of baking soda and water
fabric softener to the final rinse, add 1/2 to 3/4 cup white vinegar (easy to do with a Downy ball) OR 1/4 cup baking soda

I always avoided Hydrogen Peroxide thinking it would discolor my clothes like bleach. Juls do you use it on dark colors too?

I never thought of using hydrogen peroxide either. Learn something new everyday.
