I don't formally, but every once in a while, dd asks me to grade a paper.
I usually just put stickers on the paper.

It helps me to see where they are and to see if we need to do review. Also we, by law, have to send in 2 reports every year, one in January and one in June. Giving grades helps me to make an accurate report. Besides, my kids love getting grades on their test. They like to see if they can beat each other, especially in Bible, History/Geo and Science. It tends to push them more. justGina 09-10-2002, 12:38 PM When I start using Switched On Schoolhouse (by Alpha Omega), I'll start using grades. It's all computerized, so it makes it real easy. :) QuilterMom 09-10-2002, 03:33 PM No, we're preschool so no grades. doodlebug 09-11-2002, 07:03 PM Since we use A Beka correspondence we do use grades and send in dd's tests and a grade sheet every 9 weeks. She receives a report card from A Beka. |
