For reasons I would rather not post here I am in dire need of work at home ideas.
I need to make an income that can support Tyler and I.
I have no investment/start up money... and I am not a good salesperson.

Any ideas? I'm desperate here.

The only thing I can suggest is doing an online search. I honestly don't know of anything that could support both of you off the top of my head. I don't know what kind of skills you have, either. Good luck! Hope everything is okay. :hugz:

Can I suggest mystery shopping? It may not sound like much but when the checks start coming in it really helps. Hope everything is ok.

I have signed up with 18 mystery shop companies... since 8/27. No one has called me on a shop yet... I have found a couple of McDonalds shops in my area by searching online that only pay you back your meal and I cannot take Tyler along.

I was hoping it would pay off to do it. I really had my hopes up that this would be a fairly good income for us. Maybe it just takes a long time to get going.

I get a lot of emails alerts email me exactly where you live and I can let you know when shops are available ok? What about babysitting? there is always good money in that,

From reading online at other boards I think the mystery shops have to be something like banks, or bridad stores, etc. to actually get paid any money and they usually take 3 to 6 weeks to pay you. I did a pizza resturant mystery shop and it took almost 3 weeks before I got paid back.

The merchandising is where the money is but you would have to put Tyler in daycare for a few hours at a time.

Not knowing what skills or education you have it is hard to think of something. Pretty much everything you do takes time away from your baby.

I did personally know a SAHM who baked cookies and cakes for all occasions. She made business cards and gave them to teachers at school, businesses like corporations, doctors offices, etc. Since the poision candy scandles she got a lot of work from the schools. The teachers paid her to bake homemade treats for their classes and then they didn't worry about the food being bad. She did work very, very, hard during the holiday seasons though. Sometimes 12 to 14 hours baking cookies at a time. Her cake specialty was carrot cake. Seems men love homemade carrot cake.

Just try to think of something that you are pretty good at or have a real interest in and go for it girl.

the baking business is alot of work but you get to spend time at home with your son.i am in my second year of baking for family friends and some small parties. i make good money.the starting costs are high but the profit is excellent.christmas is a great time to start,some people would love to buy baked goods instead of store bought stuff and/or baking themselves.some people don't have the time.bakind goods also go fast at flea-markets too.
you could also try selling crafts that you make.they are great for the holidays too.

ps- you could also start cleaning other peoples places too.

Sherri I agree with Angie i clean 2 houses every other week, takes me 3 hours to do each and I take home 200.00 a month for 12 hours work tax free.
