~This is an old(1992) Washington Post article that I'm sure has been posted before, but I'd never read it. I think it's the one referenced in her book as the one that made her famous. Thanks...I've heard mention of this article but had not read it myself. I like the point of view of the article. It has renewed my interest...guess I'll be getting out my Tightwad Gazzette today and brushing up!

me too never read that one but alot of what she said was wrote in her book. Ill be brushing on it again and writing down how to save again.

I enjoyed reading that - I even got up and switched off 2 lights and the water heater!! This often happens when I'm in the frugal village tho!
