Anyone married to an older man? My hubby is 10 years older than I am. Anyone else have an age difference between their spouses?

My dh is a *younger man* ;-)

My hubby is nine years older.

My mother was 18 years younger than my dad. He was 42 and she was 24 when they got married. They had 6 children. 3 and then waited 10 years and had the last three. So when I was born my father was 53 when I was born. They had a great marriage and we had a great childhood. By the time that I was in first grade my father was retiring.. SO I had the best of both worlds, my mom and my dad home with us. We had a blessed childhood. Which in turn has turned me into a good mother and wife.

Hubby is 11 years older than I am. Age difference is no big deal usually, we do have our moments occasionally though. You know the times, when of course I'm right & he's being a sweet ole fuddy-duddy.;)

Gripey is 6 years older than I am. :D Works for us.

:yeah: :smooch: is 2 and a bit younger than me. My ex was younger too. :P Though if (God Almighty forbid) :smooch: and I ever broke up, I think I would try dating an older man instead.

By sometimes 8 years, right now 9 years. I am 36 now and he is 27. It's nice- we have one DD that is almost 2, my DS that is 16 and we are working one another little one. Funny thing is so many folks say he looks so much younger and there have been times that people ask if he is my son :yikes:. Not that I look old, but they know I have a teenage son and they think he is it!!

nope me and hubby are about 1 year apart. my inlaws and my parents are 11 and 12 years apart in age.

My honey is 11 years older than me. It works!

Dh is 9 years older than me. I was 18 and he was 27 when we started dating :eek: . We got married when I was 20 and he was 29 and we've been married 7 years. We've had our struggles but never because of the age difference. It has worked out well and I can't imagine being with anyone else. :)

Dh is 4 1/2 yrs older than I am.

My husband is only 3 years older than me. My brother is 9 years older than his wife. I really don't see that big of a deal if the people are happy.

I was 23 and he was 40 when we started dating. We've been married 7 years as of yesterday. The old saying "age is just a number" definitely applies to us. Our age difference is never an issue for us.

My hubby is 5 years older then me. We started dating when I was 20 and swore off boys of my own age....they only wanted one thing! LOL!

My first husband was 22 years older than I. We had our last DD when he was 50 and I was 28.
He passed away when she was 3.

I've always dated men who are quite a bit older. In my teens I would date late 20's-30's. Now that I'm in my 20's and divorced I generally seem to date somewhere around 30-40. My boyfriend is 16 years older. Ex husband was 10 years older.

DH is 9 years older than me, we met when I was 17 and he was 26, got married 1 1/2 years later and just had our 13th wedding aniversary on 12/28. We've never had an issue with our age difference.

DH hubby is 7 years older than me. We have been together 20 years. I was 18 and he was 25. The age difference has never been a problem for us. We are still happy and going strong:cheergrl:

First let me start by saying my parents were 12 years apart-my dad being the older one.

Dh is 7 years older than me.. Dsister's DH is 5 years older than her and Dsister's2 DH is 10 years older than her.. Dbrother is marrying a girl that is 12 years younger..

I guess age really does not matter... I have always liked older guys.. More mature I guess.

DBF is nearly 10 years older than me (2 months shy). Age is no barrier for us, he looks so much younger than he is. When I met him I thought he was mid 30's not just turner 41! He's not a fuddy-duddy but we are both more mature than many couple we know.
The age difference is no barrier but he does get cheeky when we 'differ' and tells me to "respect your elders"!!! lol

Just noticed another age difference thing. I was reading how Sam the Butcher (Allan Melvin), died & was telling hubby. He had no clue who Sam the Butcher was. I told him he was Alices boyfriend. "Alice who?" Oh my.
