I have mostly been interested in Montessori education, but have recently come across Waldorf Education. I am curious if anyone has any personal experiences with Waldorf.
Here's one of many links that shares a bit about it.

I remember reading about it in Mary Prides' Big Book of Home Learning and thought it sounded fun. There was a private Waldorf school near Nelson BC and they sounded really nice.
Child centered and driven, stimulating the imagination.
I always went for a more relaxed form of homeschooling and I thought the descriptions of Waldorf were intriguing.
I was a Montessori fan too. Before I even heard of homeschool, we had ds in a Montessori preschool that he loved for one morning a week. Then we moved. I always enjoyed Montessori philosophy. I think there are a lot of similarities.
I ended up doing a homemade unit study crossed with unschooling when we homeschooled but Waldorf would have been fun in elementary school if we had the options
