Congrats!!! :congrats:

I borrowed all three books from the library just last month. Wow! An amazing set of books - I was won over, and they really put me into the proper frame of mind to remain frugal without becoming miserly.

I hope you get as much out of them as I did.

~Oh you're making me jealous! My copy is on loan-out. I usually re-read it this time of year to get myself motivated for the new year. Happy reading!~

Let me know how it is and I might buy it. I checked the library and they don't have it.

I bought the complete 3-volume combined book used for $6 or $8 and it was totally worth it! Read the whole thing before I knew it.

Yes some of it came from readers who may have really needed to cut back.
So you can get inspired by some and actually do others.

In the front Amy drew a little diver and shows you each one of us will "dive" to a different level of frugality and thats ok :D

Currently I dont appear frugal at all, but I still am.

Years ago I did a LOT of that book and it wasnt uncommon to notice something in my home "looking frugal" hahaha.
Baggies drying, bread bags saved, cloth diapers soaking, refridge roll dough in the fride, homemade choclate syrup.
You name it I did it.
I had a lot more savings back then too hmmmmmmmm :laundry:

Wonderful. My oldest daughter is not that much younger than you. Maybe one day she'll be motiviated to read them. She's 17 and still has 1 1/2 years of high school. Not quite ready to be on her own yet.

Ahhh, the "Tightwad Bible". My favorite book on the subject of frugality. I keep my copy in our bookcase in the kitchen with all of :smooch:'s cookbooks and my herbal lore books. It is in constant use in our home. God Bless Amy D!
