Curious what old friends are here, and what new ones do I need to meet?

I am just learning all of this and hope to move soon and have my own homestead.

I guess I am a homesteader but in the desert homesteading sense. I have to do things alot different than a lot of you. I'm looking for and trying to lead a more simpler life.

Kindred, I know you don't know me but I remember you and all your great post from that other place before they went to "Pay For View". LOL

It is great to have you here. Everyone is so friendly and it is just comfortable being here.
