Was snooping around Sears clearance baby/toddler clothes. they have an extra 30% off lowest clearance price. Mostly I didn't find too much. I have guidelines for how much I'll pay for kids clothes. for ds who's 9, $5 for tshirts, 10 for sweaters/sweatshirts, and 15 for jeans. for the little ones.. $3 for shirt or pants, $6 for a set, $8 dress, $5 pjs. If I can't get them in this price range i figure it can just wait til the kid is in that size - sears, jcp, etc all have 40-50% sales during season.
Is there a limit on how much you'll pay for clothes?
Anyway, back to sears. I stumbled about cute pink cordoroy type pants wuth flowers on them for 75% off. Plus the extra 30% made these about $1.35 each!!! there wasn;t anything else on clearance for 75%. i guess i'm just lucky i stumbled upon them. i got dd a size 18mos for now, and to put in bin in basement for later, a size 3T and a 4T.
While dh and ds1 were getting haircut i went in children's place. awesome sales in there! 50% off lowest price. I got 2 gender neutral thinner pjs (dd can wear and then ds2) in size 24mos for less than $4 each. got ds1 size 12 jeans and a lrg sweater for less than $5 each. bought both ds ans dd long sleeve shirts for 2.50 each.
Bonton also had clearance but I only found an outfit for dd for $6 and 2 heavy pjs for ds2 for 9.99. I heard that Macy's and JCP also have clearance but i didn't get a chance to check them out. If anyone has a little extra money now is definitely the time to buy. i'm wishing i had that rebate check they gov't is talking about - i'd go buy more clearance stuff and not have to buy school clothes for ds1 in the fall.
