anything from the bank?? I think if not I would call and ask to speak to someone else who can find out for you. You have been on hold for so long on this I would think that in the best intrest of you and the bank they would have had a answer for you with in 24 hours at the most. Please let us know how it is going.

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts.

I got a call back finally yesterday afternoon and he said we had till today to make a payment and he would send out the contract for the repayment agreement. We rushed down to the grocery store and did a Western Union payment for $900 and called in the MTCN#. Today we got the paper work and rushed down and had our signatures notorized and dropped it in the mail. Then, I got the mail and there were certified letters from the lawyers as it had already gone into foreclosure. I'll call the lawyers tomorrow and make sure they know we have a payment agreement now. I'm so glad this is finally settled.

So now, our biggest obstacle is coming up with the $899.45 every month while dh is layed off. My disability check covers almost all of it but it just makes me sick that all of my check will now be going for the house payment but I'm thankful that the Lord provided that for me to have and to use. Hopefully dh will start getting unemployment this next week. We have food and we have paid our electric and our phone and I think we have the $15.00 for the internet this week so we'll be ok. Not sure what we'll do about the rest of the bills but for now, the basics are paid.

This week I'll be going through the garage to clean and find more things to sell.

Thank you all again for your prayers and good thoughts and advice, they helped me get through this.

Thanks Michelle! We have avoided foreclosure and are praying that things will pick up soon around here. Dh's new boss that just laid him off said maybe it won't be long, maybe mid Feb. before work picks up again. An electrician depends on new building of business' and homes so hopefully the housing crunch will end within a month or 2.:cutie:

Hope all works out for you. I would make sure you call the attorney asap in the morning and make sure everything is ok and they got something from the bank if not call the guy at the bank and tell him you need him to fax or send something to the attorney and also to you so you have a copy for your files.

Good luck do you have any family that can help you if you need it? Do you have a food bank you can goto if you need to? Sell what you can it that helps.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

We do have a food bank but I've been avoiding that. Having worked in another food bank for almost 2 years, I know that the food banks are needed so much by those that don't qualify for food stamps. We're waiting on some paperwork that we need and then we may qualify for food stamps, Good Lord, we've only ever qualified one time for them and that was only for one month but I'll give it a try.

Dh is doing all he can to find work and I'm doing all I can to sell stuff. I think the Organ is going next. We love it but no one has time to play it and so it is just a nice piece of furniture that dh's Mother left to us. I sure hate selling all of the pretty, nice things, but they don't pay the bills. Lots of sacrifices going on here but we'll be stronger and make it through it.

I'm so happy you are keeping your house.

You know, by selling stuff you are being proactive. A lot of people in your shoes would not be taking the steps you are to keep the wolf away from the door. I have so much respect for you! I am sure things are going to turn around soon.

Always thinking of you.

I'm so glad you get to keep your house. I hope you are able to sell unwanted stuff before you have to sell things you want to keep.

I hope your DH finds steady employment soon so you don't have to be afraid of losing your home and you don't have to sell off your beautiful belongings. I would do the same thing although it may hurt to sell off those things. You have to do what you have to do. Please don't feel bad if you have to resort to taking food from a food bank. That is what they are there for. Don't think it as a permanent thing that you will have to do but only a bump in the road until you get on steady ground. Do everything you can to save your home.

Thanks for continueing all of your good thoughts and prayers and those HUGS feel so good!:)

Dh got approved for unemployment and got his check today! Yeah!!!!:teddy2:

Dh has been networking and still no leads on jobs until either later in the Month or into March. :thud:

I got an application for the energy assistance program and it looks like dh's unemployment and my ss puts us about $76.00 over the income limit for being approved. I'll fill it out anyway but highly doubt we'll receive any compensation from that program. :box:

But things aren't all bad and good things keep happening almost every day!:teddy2:
