I have a close friend who has inspired me in regards to keeping on homesteading. She is a homesteader also and we bounce things off of each other. She is an encouragment to me whenever we get together.

I also have a couple of friends on the net who have encouraged me and made our dreams of homesteading fun.

And reading books on homesteading have help me to realize my dream.

How about you? Who or what has influenced you the most?

My friends on the net, homesteading groups, my homesteading books that brought the life to me when I was a child. Also just watching movies like Sarah Plain and Tall inspire me. I could just read and hang out with homesteaders to make my life a dream come true.
Its funny in this rat race of life, I strive to have less, not more. But then again I look at what I have, too much.

I am not a Homesteader, but you have given me so many good ideas, I think about ways of becoming more self-sufficient..... Thanks CJ
