As many of you know, I have been unemployed now for several months.
I have great news to share: On Thursday I will begin a 12 week contract with a local company. If all goes well on my contract there will be a chance of a permanent job. :cheer4:
I am thrilled and can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Thanks to the frugal choices made and the lessons learned from this site - along with the support found here - I was able to make it through this very tough time. Thank God for the pantry I built up: it saved the day!!:yippee:
With this job, I'll have about $700-$800/month to pay down my debts. I had to use some of the credit cards that I had previously paid off, but I am nowhere near the limits and am in good shape.
