Yay! He got to work yesterday and today and is supposed to work this weekend. Ds is also getting to work but with another company and I just found out they are working on the same job, lol. Ds is learning to do low-voltage electrical installation. He is learning to install burglar alarms, phone, cable, surround sound stereo systems and in-the-wall vacumn systems. He's learning fast! Yay!

Dh was the 1st one to be called back to the job. This is with the guy he worked 1 1/2 weeks for a few weeks ago but had worked for him over a year ago also and was with them for over 2 years. He is supposed to be going out of town to work for a week soon also so looks like there is some steady work ahead! :bowing:

Oh I do hope things are going to be steady and thank you for your encouraging words. Dh could make twice as much working than he does on unemployment so this could mean getting that EF started and starting to pay on some medical bills that have just been ignored since he got laid off the first time in the fall. But, we are caught up on our medical bills and my social security check will cover the house payment so we're doing ok with those. I can't even go see my medical doctor because I owe her $120.00! It's frightening for me since I have so much wrong with me so I'm praying that he atleast gets to work long enough for he and I to go to the doctors soon.

But, we are caught up on our medical bills Ooops, this should be "we are caught up on our utility bills".:jug:

Thank you for remembering and for keeping them in your thoughts. Prayer is a powerful thing as is postive thinking.:bowing: You are all so wonderful to keep thinking of us and giving us encouragment.

Yes, dh has had a number of mild strokes affecting his left side. He just had another one this last week. It left him very weak but he is not a quitter and loves his work so keeps on going. Luckily, dh's boss knows about the stroke and has also had strokes in the past so is aware of his difficulty but since dh doesn't miss work unless he's in the hospital, and gives 150% every day, he is considered a more valuable employee than even those who have no physical limitations. Poor dh moans and groans every evening about the pain and soreness to me but never to his boss.

Ds also has terrible back/neck problems from another car wreck on 7/7/07 and recently has an kidney stone which doesn't seem to want to come out and he really needs to see a urologist but has no money for that. They are just taking one day at a time. Ds's boss absolutely loves him and he and his wife have practically adopted him and told him no matter what, he will have a job with them. He really is a very likeable kid.:)

WOW sounds like they both have wonderful boss's!!
