We bought our home two years ago, Christmas and our mortgage is through CitiMortgage. Since falling behind, I've been trying to work something out with them till I can find a job. Our loan is currently in default and I've filled out forms, etc. Just playing the waiting game now with them.
Has anyone else used them and worked anything out with them? Just wondering if I need to start packing... :nerv2:

Christmas thru them? Paid for Christmas thru a loan?
Sorry, can't help you but count me in on wishing good things for you!

Our mortgage is also through CitiMortgage, and although we've never been late with payments or had to work out deals, they've always been very easy to work with. We recently refinanced to lower our payments and they were more than fair. I know it isn't the same situation, but hopefully it shows that they are good people.
I'm as confused as Darlene about the Christmas comment, though. Do you mean you had to take out a loan for Christmas? We can help you out with that next year...lots of frugal holiday ideas to be had around the village.

I don't know through personal experience, but I've heard they are ok to deal with.
I think she meant it had been two years ago this past Christmas when they bought the house....???

I dont have a mortgage through CitiMortgage but I do have one from CitiBank, it's called My Citi Residential Loan, while I have never been late I am pretty sure if you gave them a call and explained everything to them, they will be willing to work with you. Honesty is your best policy in my opinion, they want their money so any money to them would be great. Let us know how things turn out and good luck :hugz:

No..... We purchased our home, two years ago at Christmas time. Would never borrow money for Christmas. Here, if there isn't any money, gifts aren't exchanged
