    Default Aftermarket vehicle warranty

    I ran across this article and thought it might save someone some money. The warranty fliers many of us get in the mail are a scam, so do your homework on these companies so you don't get ripped off.

    I got a call about one of these warranties once. They told me my car warranty was about to expire. I asked how in the world my 10 year, 100K warranty was going to expire on a (at the time) 2 year old car with 17K miles on it. They hung up on me.

    I got the same kind of call...funny part is, I don't own a vehicle or have a driver's license...poor guy couldn't get off the phone fast enough once I told him that!

    Good to know........I have gotten gobs of letters but never activate them. Never any phone calls though. Or I hung up on them before I even knew what they were selling....

    I am 'real quick to click'........when it comes to junk phone calls!!
