New Brakes...finally :)
This has been put off as long as possible...and it couldn't be put off any longer. We've had a warped rotor for months, but because we put ceramic brakes on the last time, they were still functioning...just not as smoothly as they should.
So....with all the car problems we had last year, it'll suffice to just say that...well, we had bigger problems (like a blown engine for example?) than a less-than-smooth stop to contend with LOL.
Well, I went on ebay on Wednesday night and bought drilled & slotted rotors, along with more ceramic brakes for $90! Front end only (the back has drums), and shipped from CA to FL for free...and we got them this morning via USPS. It took BF about a half hour to put them on and viola, we can stop without thump-thump-thump-thumping
Hopefully these will last longer, too. The problem we had last time was a caliper that was sticking and caused one set of brake pads to do all of the work, so they wore down (and warped the rotor) long before the other side did. The caliper is new, so we shouldn't have to do brakes for quite some time.

Nothing beats a new pair of shoes, so to speak. Glad you got it fixed. No brakes is not fun.
