Default Gasoline Prices... again.... ha ha!

So, last week gas went up to 2.78 a gallon here, then it dropped to 2.75, then shot up the NEXT day to 2.88. Today, it went down to 2.85, so I went ahead and filled up the tank before it goes up to 2.98 tomorrow, which I am sure it will.

What are the gas prices like where you guys live?

Its up again to $2.85 for regular. Seems to be going up twice a week here. I pumped less than 7 gallons of mid-grade ($2.96 a gallon) & spent $20. Can't imagine what the price will be this summer.

we had a refinery explode last week so they said expect prices to sky rocket here. they also said that they didn't know if the stations would be able to keep up with the demand because of the explosion. yippee. and, of course, we're going on vacation in a week too. cant wait to see what it'll be like by then.

We went over $3/gallon this week.
Before the weekend it was $2.95-ish. Filled up for $2.79 with my price chopper savings. When we went down to the inlaws (Horseheads, NY) and their gas down there was already $3.16/gallon

Last I looked (Tuesday evening) it was $3.07/gallon. Bleck.

2.89...this sucks!...I can remember back in 1986, the bottom fell out of the oil business & the price per gal was .59....when we moved back here,in 1997, it was .79...then it rose to .98 & stayed steady. Our family grew & we had to buy a 15 passenger van...it was only after that...that the prices started to rise.....go figure
