We bought an extended warranty on my corolla for 1K when the original warranty ran out, so we take it to the dealer. I know they tell you not to buy extended warranties, but our car has been a piece of crap since we bought it and the warranty has paid for itself a couple times over already.
I like the dealership we're going to now. They have a little coffee bar in it and we always get free hot cocoa (hand made, not the icky powder stuff) or juice for the kids and a coffee for me when we go in for repairs. Their play area is nice too. It's secluded, well stocked and arranged so that the parents sit right at the only entrance to it. Very well designed.

I never have to worry about paying a mechanic to fix my vehicles..My dh can fix just about anything..I mentioned this in a previous post recently..I think if we had foreign vehicles then there might be a problem for him to fix them.. However dh will only buy "American" made cars period!
