LOL- nope, although I've often thought I should have.
I did used to be a pastry chef, though.

WOW. These can not be good for my diet! LOL. They look yummy. I might have to give them a try myself but will probably wait until the cooler weather. Would be so nice on a cold winter afternoon with a cup of peppermint or spice tea.......sigh

Thanks Kimberrly! I can't wait to try these! I think I will wait until it gets a bit cooler to make them, but when I do I will let you know how I like them. I also appreciate all of the legwork and notes you have written! The picture was a definate selling point to try these! Thank you again!

Michelle, as the Princess of Typos (Darlene says she is the Queen, but she obviously hasn't seen how many times I have edited my posts for typos) I will tell you I didn't even notice.

And totally OT, but I have so many dropped letters it isn't funny. I know I am pushing them, they just don't show up- even sometimes when I go back to add them and DEFINITELY push them. I think I need to push harder or get a new keyboard, lol.

Kimberly, My kids & I LOVE english muffins toasted in the oven under the broiler! Yours look & sound so delicious that I will try these as soon as I get the nerve to make them...I get a little nervous when it comes to making new things from scratch.
Thanks for sharing!

Wow! They look incredible. I don't have an electric skillet, do you think they would work in a regular frying pan, and if yes, what would I turn the burner up to?

They look wonderful!! I bet they smell yummy too.
Maybe I'll have to try them with my newer electric frypan I found at the local thrift store for 99 cents. I've only had it a couple-three weeks and has been used at almost every day since then.
Thanks for the idea (and the recipe)!!
