Those are fabulous! How did you make the holes in the picks? My DD and I make jewelry and happen to have some picks laying around. Thanks for the great idea!

Thanks everyone!!
I made the holes by heating the end of a paperclip with a lighter and then quickly pushing that through the pick. Probably not the safest way to do it, but it works!

Oh, yah I think you could for sure sell them.....
And your age range would be large, I mean from the tweens to folks like me that would enjoy them for their just being something new and different.
let us know when you start selling them : )
Question: how big of a color range do picks come in???
Great Job,

Guitar picks come in every imaginable color! They are various thicknesses, but this is actually not aesthetic (notice on the picks it says .46mm or whatever number), various patterns, even different shapes--I have some that are triangles!
When I was more ambitious about my guitar playing I bought a lot of 84 or so picks on eBay then realized I didn't need that many! So jewelry it is.
Here you can see the range they come in:

And it looks like I'm not the only one making jewelry out of them...

Oh those are COOL!!!!!!!
You could even alter the guitar picks to match whatever beads you wanted to use with them... maybe nail polish or paint w/ some modpodge on top to seal?

Love them!
I have DD15 and DD12, and those are earrings that I know they'd pick out for themselves. I'd wear them, cept I can only wear nickel-free or my earlobes get infected..ugh.
According to them, bracelettes are the IT accessory right now...not sure if that helps you with future ideas or not, but I thought I'd mention it.

You can totally sell them. I've seen guitar pick earrings in boutiques in LA and at booths at different events. You might try selling on Etsy.com
