Well I enjoyed my family reunion in Ohio. It was beautiful(so green) a week wasn't enough. The new job is starting Aug. 2 around Sacramento and I finish work on July 30th. So no days off and I have tons to do. I am preparing for the move. The pay I am looking forward to, but not the stress of taking over a big project. I am also looking forward to debt pay down. I feel like I should buy a lottery ticket. I was sent a letter that I am a possible donor match for bone marrow. I have been on the list...

Apparently we have a lot of it.

I don't understand how on earth we ended up with so much, but the movers could just barely fit in on the truck and our storage unit is completely filled. Thank goodness we had the mover put it into the unit for us, we would have needed one twice as big if we had done it ourselves. That guy could really pack stuff, he was stuffing little things in everywhere and filled the place like it was a giant puzzle.

Who uses 3.5" disks anymore? Well, I just discovered that my new computer and my laptop do not have disk drives for those disks....that means I can get rid of my stash of disks. I haven't counted, but there are at least 50 disks with who knows what on them. A couple of them are labeled...files from Gateway...the Gateway was a computer my parents had when I was in elementary, middle and high school. I'm interested to see what's on them.

Things are always sent to try us. Like now, in my wardrobe my bike leathers still don't fit and it isn't likely that they ever will. Humph. But I keep trying. I've powerwalked an awful lot today, and done a bit of yoga to get myself a bit more toned. Then we sat down and watched 2012, and I had a bit of a cry. I'm hoping to post a lot more often

Well I have been busy. I put in my notice to quit my job as of the end of July. I haven't told my employees yet. I will after I get back from Ohio. I gave a 6week notice as I had already scheduled 2 weeks vacation. I have been cleaning my desk out anyway. I am partially done. It is a little scary but I am, glad I made up my mind to go. I will take a traveling position if I must, but I have a great paying option that will hopefully be coming in 1-3 months up around Sacramento. So I may be moving...
