So excited, we are opening the pool tomorrow. Over the winter we have been losing water in the pool. Not sure what we are going to find when the cover comes off. We had a hole in the lining in the past that was patched. Don't know if it needs to be re-patched or not. Our neighbor said that they had holes in their cover and when they would pump the water off of the cover they were taking water out of the pool. This is also a potential problem. There are no visible holes, but it is a possibility. ...

When I send out invitations to parties, I always put R.S.V.P. but a certain date. For me this is so I have enough food and what not for those who show up. What I don't understand is why people ignore this or question it. I was taught that it was good manners to respond to invitations. Usually when I get one in the mail I know pretty quickly if I can go or not. This weekend someone asked me why I put R.S.V.P. on my daughter's graduation party invitation. Could it be because we invited 60 people ...

So, I have begun to get rid of stuff that we don't need anymore. It just so happens that a friend posted on FB that she was looking for old appliances that people wanted to get rid of. I remembered the old beaten up fridge in our shed that the previous owners of the house and so generously left for us.....they came and picked it up yesterday! Woohoo! That fridge has been taking up space for almost 6 years and now it's gone!

Well I had some great news. The DH company increased the buyout offer.They want 75 people to retire and only have around 20. He signed the papers yesterday.I am hoping they even increase it more, as they are still short a lot of people. My DH is going to cover my sons college fees for the coming year. That means I can finish the fix up for the last 2 rentals and concentrate on debt pay down.I am also listing around 6 properties. If any of them sell. I will also use that to pay down debt. Thursday started out like every other day... the sun was shining, the weather was comfortable. The only thing different about that day is that we handed $2400.00 in cash to a rat.

The rat didn't have a tail, but a rat all the same. He was a used car dealer. Now, I don't think all dealers are scammers, but this one was the shining example of why people don't trust them much.
