Starting the New Year with a rocky start.

It's been a tough month - not financially, but personally. Both DH & I make more $$$ than ever. But people around us are hurting. Our oldest (nephew) has been out of work for a year, just recently sold his house and is moving to Vegas on Monday. Why Vegas? Who knows. My sil and her husband are going thru a rocky spell, one that doesn't look like they are going to make it. Several people that we both know have past away this month - in their 50's!
Emotionally this has been a H%$&@ of a month.

Then to top it off, several people from both side have asked us for $$$. That's another story.

Both DH & I are clinging to each other and keeping our chins up. So I hoping and praying for a new month!!

    It's a sad state of affairs...so many people are out of work and having a hard time making ends meet. It isn't easy watching people around you struggle, harder still actually being a person that is struggling just to put food on the table.
    It's good that you and your DH are doing so well. Obviously others know that and are hoping you can help out. Whether you do or not is ultimately up to you, but good luck with it all.

    Alas, we can't save everyone, but perhaps you will be an example of being frugal and your skills may help someone .
