Living A Simple Life

I have had many changes with my life over the past few years and my oh my how the years are flying by. I just want to start enjoying my time without being rushed so I am going to do an "Overhaul" or "Extreme Makeover" on myself. This is not going to happen right away but I am hoping to be at least close to half way there by the end of this year.

  1. A New Day

I realize that I can't just stop working at my part-time job but I can drop down to one 4 hour shift which is on Sunday evenings. I can live with that and feel such a relief as I have been so burnt out!

Today I am taking over in the kitchen with the meal cooking, I haven't really done this in a long time as my fiancees boys are kind of picky. I will not ask them what they would like to eat as their dad does , I find that they can't agree, especially the 12 year old. Take it or ...

I have accumulated more debtand I seem to have lost myself when it comes to the Simple and Frugal life I have always embraced in the past. I have been playing around with some ideas over the past couple of days to try and get back on track as far as the credit cards Go and that is to start snowballing. Well, I was able to put $57 into my baby emergency fund today so I am now at $708.66, I am so close to getting it to the $1000 mark but it just seems to be dragging now. I cannot wait to finally be finished with it!! My mini goal for June is to have it done, I have a couple of more weeks and all I can say is that I am so looking forward to that!

I went to to see growth opportunities yesterday morning. I wasn't sure what they were exactly about but found out a few interesting things. ...
  4. I am getting closer to Simple living with each payday.....

by , 06-08-2012 at 09:20 AM (Living A Simple Life)
I am now at $651.66/$1000 to reaching my bef goal. Next week I will get my pay from the dollar store so that will put me even closer!

I also picked up an extra 14.5 hours at the Esso this weekend so that extra in two weeks will go on my bef unless I am able to have it funded by then, if so that will go on to my Visa.

I am getting so close to finishing up the bef. A lot of hard work that is for sure but just knowing the freedom which is awaiting me makes it so worth ...
  5. Making Plans towards living a Simple life

by , 06-07-2012 at 06:26 PM (Living A Simple Life)
I called a growth Opportunity place today to see if I can get help with a small business. I already have a mobility business to go to peoples homes and do their hair. I need help with some equipment, products, better vehicle, and advertising. My appointment is this upcoming Wednesday. They only help with business ideas that are needed in our community. There are so many hairdressers in my hometown but noone with a mobility license who does this. The lady with whom I spoke with seemed really excited ...
