Ok, so day #1 of my menu plan didn't go off as expected. Dh's grandma was taken to the hospital so I went up there directly after work and we ate in the hospital cafeteria. Dh's dad paid, so it was taken care of. His grandma has a UTI and she aspirated into her lungs which could cause pnuemonia. She has dementia which worsened when dh's grandpa died a year and a half ago. She also happens to be in the same nursing home my sister works in, so she can keep an eye on her.

So Day ...

Tomorrow is the day that I start my new menu plan! This is an effort for us to have a meal plan in place with stuff to cook with so I can't take the easy way out and eat out. I have planned eating out days once per week so we won't be going cold turkey.

So, I listed everything that I can make and have made before. This list has 25 main dishes on it. I didn't know that I could make that many, although Hamburger, Tuna and Chicken Helper account for 3. Then, on the homemade dishes, ...
