I love keeping a blog, so that I can go back through old posts and compare where we are & what we need to continue to work on or change, even though I'm *really, really, really* bad at posting to it...lol.

So much has happened since the last time that I posted here that I wouldn't even know where to begin...so I'll just start with what I'm currently dealing with.

Mike & I have been having some major financial upheaval lately. We've let our budget go south,...

Ok so alot of people here do a 'modified' DR plan, which to me, that is what he intended all along...to take his advice and use it in our own lives/situations in order to get in better shape financially, (hearing Greebo in the background spouting off DR quotes here~hehe).

In order to stay on schedule and get our very last cc. paid off (next to the last debt besides our house), we will be dipping into our BEF.
Yeah, yeah, yeah...I hear all the comments being made~

Things I've been giving alot of thought to lately?
Spending money...*or* the lack thereof~~I've realized that there are several 'big ticket items' that we have put off purchasing due mostly because we seem to spend too much money on all of the little things...

I am not talking about the "latte factor" here...oo noooo, I'm talking about having 4 different types of shampoo...

Wow! It's been awhile since I've blogged, I will try to do better with this.

I just wanted to make a quick note here about a few things that I've been giving alot of thought too lately.

1) I want to buy more cast iron cookware this year. I currently have 1~10 inch skillet, which I *love* but really want to add a few more pieces this year.

I am fed up with buying cookware that eventually warps or the non-stick coating wears off.
