Okay, for those of you who read my blog already know that in the past few weeks there have been some difficulties with our finances.

I have been working diligently over the past couple of weeks trying to get things in order:
a new budget
using an envelope system
figuring out pay-off dates, etc.

So, beginning in June will be when all of these new changes will go into effect.

I thought I'd post here about each one, so that I can stay ...

I recieved this movie the other day from Netflix, because I had heard alot of buzz around the web about it.

Thinking it is about firefighters (which it is, to a certain degree), I thought it would be a good movie for the family to watch together.

Without giving anything away, if your marriage could use some encouragement or you would like your husband/wife to be more considerate of you, you've GOT to watch this movie.

Excellent! Is all I will say. ...

Okay, so I've spent part of this week trying to get our finances back on track.
At this point by the first part of June things should be more 'normal'.

Since being so short on our money last week, we've eaten mostly out of our stockpile, which, thankfully, I have been diligently working on since the beginning of the year.

But I have made my shopping list out for groceries, which I plan on either shopping for this afternoon or tomorrow.
I have to go to ...

I'm wondering if other people are like this?
I won't call myself necessarily an optimist, more a realist, but seriously, even when I'm having a p*ssy day or even had an argument, after I've allowed myself to step back from the situation and give things some pondering time, I can always come away with a lesson learned.

I've realized that I began this 'soul searching' routine when I was probably around my early 30's.
I don't know is this comes with age, wisdom or the fact ...

Gosh, I hate when I have several blog entries that are "downers" but sometimes writing about what's going on in my life, whether good or bad, seems to be theraputic for me.

Since this is the only blog that I write in on a regular basis, this is where everything ends up.

I'm more frustrated with myself today than anyone else, although Mike does play a big part in it.
