$25 Grocery Challenge for December, week 2

I'm a little late shopping this week because we went out of town with friends over the weekend.

bread 2.79
candy canes .89
barley 1.29
black tea 3.99
orange juice 1.18
orange juice 1.18
grape juice 1.28
grape juice 1.28
tomato paste .59
tomato paste .59
cereal 3.29
crackers .79
sloppy joe seasoning 1.19
ice cream 3.98
cheddar 3.99
broccoli 2.50
lemon .59
onion .98
tomatoes .73

If I added that correctly it should be $33.10

Dinners this week:

-- chili & salad (chili from freezer, free salad left by friends)
-- broccoli cheddar soup & salad (last week's broc. and cream, broth from pantry, more free salad, tomato)
-- sloppy joe sandwiches (turkey from stockpile, friend will provide buns and more salad)
-- beef barley soup (leftover beef in freezer)
-- ???
-- ???
-- ???

That leaves three nights I have not figured out yet. I will try to do something with what I have in the fridge (below) and what is in the frozen stockpile and pantry. I have not been feeling very creative lately. One afternoon, possibly Tuesday I will make up a batch of holiday cookies with the candy canes.

bagged salad
celery
sweet potatoes
turnips
carrots
cabbage
tortillas (corn and flour)
apples
orange
potatoes
eggs
cheese

DH's first unemployment check came. Or something. It seems they have moved to a debit card program now instead of a paper check, and we have to figure out how this works.
