Landed another part time job.
I am going to be a product demonstrator at local grocery stores.
You know the person that gives out samples of products and tries to get you to impulse buy the product with a coupon.
I start this Saturday and hopefully if all goes well I will be able to do a couple of these a month.
All of this money is going for the Hawaii fund.
If I do just a couple a month that will be an extra $100-$125 a month.

I am back to blogging my grocery budget.


I did the $25 challenge from the end of March until the middle of September and averaged about $30 a week so that was about 19-20 weeks at $30 is $600 and October was a huge stock up month and spent $500. November was better only spending $250.
December budget will be $40 a week

So my yearly food budget minus about 12 weeks from Jan. to March should be about $1500-$1600.

Spent $40 this week but I do have 2 $4 coupons to use on my next purchase from Hy-Vee for buying the ice cream.

9 boxes of eskimo pie ice cream .48 each after man. coupon and store cat.
1 bag spinach marked down to .99
1 bag brown sugar free wyb 10 kool-aid
1 powdered sugar $1.25
Bagels marked down to .75 ...

This week I spent right at $30.

What I got

For every 3 bought got a coupon for free milk
2 OJ .99 used B1G1 so .99 for both
milk Free used free coupon
2 tortilla chips $1.38 after coupon
For every 2 your bought you get free salsa
Salsa free
Ice cream cones .09 had coupon for $2 off cones wyb 2 breyers ice cream
strawberries used a $2 off produce wyb 2 kraft ...

Week 11 I decided to do a no spend week
I did great
I had some RR from Walgreens I needed to use up $15 worth and a $1 catalina coupon to use my local store.

So total for the week was.
$1.46 YES I only spent $1.46 after coupons

I was going through all of my receipts since I have started this challenge. I finally found them all.
Since starting this challenge March 30 through today June 15 I have spent
