I have no idea why some kids are so mean??I feel sorry for my kids because they are made fun of because they live on a farm. I never knew living on farm was like a disease.I guess kids are raised not to know what some farms are like? I lived on a farm most of my childhood life and i turned out fine. But of course where we lived was a farming community. Now we live close to a large town so kids dont think of farms the same i guess. I am just rambling about this.

Ya know, i love my life the way it is. I love that we have acres and can pretty much do what we want, BUT a master fence builder i am not! We are trying to fence the property lines and ya know i hate digging holes....lol. Thank god for post augers! Ok we are getting closer to having all the posts in, 250 in all. It would have been way faster to use T posts but at $5 each that wasnt happening so we are using Landscape timbers that were onsale at $1.95 each...lol. Dh and I got 330 feet of fence up ...

I feel bad for other peoples animals that they dont take care of. BUT i sure dont like them coming onto my property and attacking my animals either. So far 2 out of 4 nites we have has some dogs come in and go after the goats. I have small nigerian dwarf goats that are no challenge for dogs the size of a small horse. Last nite i checked every hr to see if they had come back. I feel bad as i had the gun loaded and ready to go if needed. I have spent lots of money doctoring them up since the last ...

Wow i love to garden but i think this year i may have bit off more than i can chew...lol. We do raised beds and container gardens only as the soil here is not so great. So i have 25 tubs, 40 feet of raised bed with another 40 feet coming soon! I have planted so far

18 yellow squash plants
