    by , 02-10-2014 at 02:06 AM
Since moving from a hotel(extended stay) and signing a year lease we are enjoying the additional space. Slowly getting organized just a few boxes each day. We had also used a lot of my stockpile but I am still working on it. I probably have 10 boxes of food. We are also continuing to use the vitamins and other household items. Shopping for a car hopefully we can find a great deal. Want to get one before we have to get one, just to take the pressure of hunting without a backup car. I am gearing ...

  2. 2014 Almost debt free

    by , 01-13-2014 at 10:00 PM
I am getting there. Our house sold in Southern California, so I was able to pay almost all debt. I have a $9k loan plus $1k Chase along with about $750 of other debt. I do have a wedding coming up in May so have been doing an antique fair in the area to try and raise funds along with clearing items. I also am a new Grandma of 2+ months and my Grandbaby is now in Anchorage, AK. My oldest daughter who will be 30 this year is getting ...

Well I have not been on for a while, due to an extreme travel schedule. I was also a little down that I have not been able to pay off more of my debt. I will keep working on it. Good news- today is my little brothers birthday who is serving in Afghanistan,he has a return date and hopefully will return home December 14. Our prayers are with him. Other good news my son has been applying to medical schools and traveling for interviews for the Medical Schools so that has thrown our debt reduction down ...

  5. 6 14 2012 this is my response to a post about cheering at graduations

    by , 06-15-2012 at 12:46 AM
I think people take themselves too seriously. It is a graduation not a funeral. I will allow cheering and air horns at my funeral along with dancing and having a great time. I am one of those low class white trash folks you are talking about. At both college graduations I cheered and I have the air horns ready for the next two. After paying 40k a year for 4 years on the second one I felt like having a party and it is quite normal, we were shocked at the first college graduation at how much fun people ...
