Oh happy day....

What a happy, happy day!

It was my sons 15th birthday today.

I also broke the news to my son's cello teacher, that my husbands hours have been cut back and unless our financial situation changed we would not be able to return next year. He said that Ds should not stop his studies... he was doing so well. He then arranged a bursary for my son... so now his private lessons will only be $50 per month and his orchestra and chamber groups will be free!!!!
My son was thrilled!

And we are first place in the computer contest!!!

My son received all these special gifts on his birthday... he was so happy!

We are 27 votes ahead of second place! Now we need to keep it up until June 10.

    How wonderful. I'm so glad to hear that your son will be continuing his cello lessons - I am sure learning that was at least as wonderful as anything you could have had wrapped up for him!
    I noticed you guys snuck into first place - good luck with that contest! It would be so awesome for you guys to win that contest

    How nice of his teacher to arrange a bursary! He must think very highly of your son and think that he can go far with his music.

    we are doing very well in the contest and the level of excitement over it is increasing in our home!!!
    We are all so happy he can continue his cello lessons.
