Getting organized.

It has been busy , like always.
My 12 year old performed in a couple of concerts this past weekend, with her celtic group. Both concerts were sold out and fabulous!
But now she has a cold. Not surprising with all the extra rehersals and late nights.
Did a big grocery shopping yesterday, with a lot of stock pile items. It was necessary, because we had been eating out of the pantry because I was too busy to shop
So yesterday was customer appreciation day %10 off.
I also needed more diabetic supplies. But we have paid so much on those this year that pharmacare finally kicked in and is partially paying for them (till Dec. 31 anyways). But at least it is a help.
Anyways, incuding, lancets and Blood testing strips I paid only $182 for groceries, used $22 in coupons, and received 345 airmiles!
And I got a lot of food... I was pleased. My goal is to stick to the $25 per person per week challenge AND stock up my pantry again. It can be done with very careful planning. Which is a must with my athletic always hungry kids.
I also got a $5 survey cheque today. I have been saving this $5 extras for Christmas extras.
