What a happy, happy day!

It was my sons 15th birthday today.

I also broke the news to my son's cello teacher, that my husbands hours have been cut back and unless our financial situation changed we would not be able to return next year. He said that Ds should not stop his studies... he was doing so well. He then arranged a bursary for my son... so now his private lessons will only be $50 per month and his orchestra and chamber groups will be free!!!!

I actually made a dump salad last night LOL.

I have made dump soup before but never bump salad. It was so hot, that I couldn't bring myself to make what I had planned soooo....
I through some cooked pasta, beans, cuke slices, left over vegetables.... and who knows what else in and VOILA I had a hearty salad and it didn't heat up the kitchen and tasted pretty good.
I served it with bar-b-qued sandwiches.

This morning I was up very early to make cupcakes ...

It has finally become hot and everyday seems to have been spent at a little person's birthday party LOL! Is everyone born in June? Or just everyone we know?
There was one yesterday and sunday. And now my son is turning 15 tomorrow! My little baby boy.... looks down on me now!
I haven't been very productive. It all seems to be either going to or prepping for parties and going to music recitals. It is that time of year.

My son woke me up at midnight to give me the news that LG reset the whole contest back to zippo votes for everyone !!!! GRRRR!!!

I had a hard time falling asleep after that and didn't know if I should strangle my son or LG!!

Anyways, he woke up in a good mood... and said he had been thinking about it and at least everyone is even now and we have a chance AND they added a $1000 to the grand prize...

My eldest just flew to Saskatoon to race. Thank-fully the entire weekend only cost her $100 (she paid) because it was heavily subsidized by the provincial sport organization, now that she is a provincial level athlete. She is hoping to make the Canada games team next weekend. Keep her in your thought and prayers.
