Let me start off by saying Merry Xmas and Happy New Year. It seems like things haven gotten off to a rocky start. From Thanksgiving on, it has not been pretty. My family and I suffered a death in the family. We are still reeling from that one. Back at home from the funeral(we were gone 8 days), the heat in your car went out. More money, more money. On the second week of my two week vaction, I became ill and was down for 7 days. My plans over my vaction was to clean up some files, get things in order and get ready for the new year. The best laid plans of mice and men and me.
Not to be a Debbie Downer, here is the upswing. I am blessed to say that as a family we are coping. Taking each day at a time. Our heat has been fixed better than it was before. I am finally up and not visiting doctors, ermergency rooms, being poked, pinched and poked again. Here is another bonus. Today, I was able to discard two bags of clothes, which I am taking to the church. I went through old records, paperwork and threw away all old paperwork, no longer needed. I talked with at least 6 of my relatives(I am usually gone, busy, so conversations consist of a well placed text/Fb/or email.
Brand new year, new beginnings and new and renewed blessings. Thank you, my heavenly father.
