I am a true believer in rewards cards, surveys and trying to save every dime I can. My new adventure is with Walgreens Balance Rewards Card. Here is the deal. You sign up either in the store or online. Once you have your account, you check to see what items are listed with point value. Not all items have point value. Some items are on sale with the balance reward card. The more you buy, the more your points add up. Even if you use a coupon with the transaction, you still get the points. For every 5000 points, you will recieve $5.00. So far to date I am at 32,000 points. I just continue to let them add up. For me it has been great. Most of the items that I use is connected with points. You are maxed out at 40,00. I should be there in about a week's time. Also if you sign up with Walk with Walgreens, you can gain points as well. Transfer a prescription and you can get a $25.00 gift card. Right now I have my scripts at Hy-Vee, but plan to transfer them to Walgreens. Trying to maximize every dollar I can. You can sign up for an account on the Walgreens site to keep track of your points or to add any missing transactions. I also recieve next weeks ad in advance so I can plan my shopping trips. I have fell in love with Walgreens.
