Seeing my first episode of Extreme couponing and I was hooked. I brought all the trappings. The binder, baseball sleeves to keep my coupons in. Tracking sales (or at least trying to). Joining blogs, reward cards and just about anything to stretch a dollar. I also have been tracking how much I am saving. I mean right down to the paper and ink I use to print out my coupons. I must be doing something wrong.

I have always lived frugal. The majority of my frugal was a necessity. I had to be frugal.
I was a single parent with two kids to support and a bunch of low paying jobs.

Since I have gotten older, I have more fun with it. I find my soul mates online who love thrifing as much as I do. I love it when someone compliments me on my outfit and I just smile. I am head to toe thrift.

Here is my dilemma. I feel I should be saving more. With all the savings I have going on; I should have more money in my pocket. The town I live in, first and second jobs are hard to come by.
So I try to make my paycheck stretch as far as it can. I have a lot of outstanding medical bills, which I am paying down, but it just seem like I am spinning my wheels. Right now my debt stands at $2500.00. It started at $7500.00 two years ago. Three quarters of the bills are medical. This took 2 years to accomplish, but I still have a ways to go.

I guess I will keep on the course and keep trying.
