After a few weeks of being insanely busy and getting married, I'm back. I have a couple of weeks' worth of mealplans already and am working towards getting a big monthly one done. Some TV programmes over here have been giving me inspiration, and watching them with the new husband is proving to be both lovely and informative, as he is providing valuable insight as to the things he would like to try as well as the things he wouldn't! Totally useful information because I get really put off when something isn't right, or he doesn't enjoy it.

Late summer is here, and the blackberries are growing. Luckily there are quite a few patches of bramble around here, and the chance to go blackberrying is one I have taken, and will definitely do so again! Stacks of mini crumbles line my chest freezer at the moment, ready to defrost a little and put into the oven for 20 minutes or so. Tasty, indeed.

Congratulations and best wishes to you both! Yes, Dh and I watch some shows and it IS a nice way to test the waters for what he'd be willing to try.
