Went to Aldi's this morning because we legitamitly needed food. Spent $164 which is $4 more then I spent last time, but this time I got double the amount because A. Everything was on sale because of the holiday weekend and B. I didn't spend money on the little happy splurge items like the Aldi's skin care line that I HAD to try last time I shopped there. So hubby was complaining about money again today and said that there was to be no grocery shopping again for a month(month of JUNE mind you not May)... (did I mention he was a complete miser??? I'm frugual but not sadistic) and that the only food purchased was to be milk and yogurt. He was telling me how on Jan. 1st 2010 the caps were coming off the electric and our bill will go up 40%. Kinda sucks, but really we only spend $40 in the winter and then $90 in the summer at the most. It's annoying that we'll pay more, but we still have good wiggle room. I feel bad for the people who spend like $200-$300 on electric a month (yes, I do know alot of people like that). So now we have to be extra extra frugual...although he did say I could have a $30 a month allowance because he spends $30 on his stupid online games. My $30 is going right into my washer and dryer fund because I want them more then anything else at this moment. I have an envelope above the computer that whenever I get spare cash I put it in there and then mark on it how much I've added and then the total.
John brought home two checks last night, pay check and bonus that added up to about $1,400...which is nice if I knew it wasn't going to be sunk right into his stupid truck that he should have sold 2 years ago like his father and I kept telling him. *sigh*
Sorry, I'm crabby today, it's hot and I had to grocery shop with Kittie and she is even crankier then me...so that was fun. Anyway. That's about it now.
