Don't panic! I am not hanging my pantaloons out there for public viewing.

Worse.

I'm going to toss all the facts and figures out there in hopes someone comes along and pops me on the head to keep us on track.

Car Loan - $400 ($275/mo - p/o/d 8/12)

Laundry - $20
Old Man - $120
Diva - $25 (School lunches)
Misc. - $50

$2000 a month???? It doesn't seem like we pay that much but numbers don't lie.

Short-term goals:
BEF - $1000/$1000 DONE
2010 Vacation - $195.7/$600
3MEF - $0/$6000

    since you're in MA, I'll suggest this. DCU (our credit union) just sent us an ad telling us they can beat our current car insurance payment. One of my jobs this week is to verify if this is true. If it is, it's likely we'll switch to DCU's car insurance after years with our current company.

    I don't know if you've recently compared $$$ for auto insurance, but it's an idea. I know a couple in Boston who gave up their car altogether, they rent when they have to and use public transporation otherwise. I don't know if either of these is useful to you, but throw it out there in case it can help.
