The Long Road, But Worth Every Step

September 2008 was a pivotal turning point in our lives. My 'Old Man' and I made a plan for him to return to college.

If everything went according to plan, he would have gone back to college, full-time starting September 2010 and graduate May 2012.

Life happens.

Our new goal has been set.

We have one heck of a challenge ahead of us... save 2 years worth of expenses! We'll be trying to live off half his income and turn a blind eye to the other half so we can keep the bellies full and the lights on while we plow our way to our goal.

I plan on documenting the highs and lows of the road we travel.

He started to list off all the things he wanted to get at the store. Wanted. Did we need new gravel for the fish tank? Did the fish even care that the gravel wasn't natural
