Thanks. Wrestling is another great example. I never played sports in school (funny, since my job revolves around high-school sports now), because I didn't think I was good enough to try out, but in retrospect, I could have probably latched on to the tennis or cross-country teams and had a lot of fun.
I can't begin to overstate how much of a positive influence sports can be on a young child's life. They teach discipline, physical fitness, commitment, responsibility, and goal-setting.
