Gallbladder Out

Last Thursday (I had to go back and check - I've been saying Friday, but it turns out it was Thursday), Oct 1, 2009, I went to work. Threw up before my shift started. Tried to work, but almost threw up again. Left after two hours, threw up on my way home. Twice. Got home, was in so much pain and it seemed high for abdominal pain. So I thought it might be my gallbladder (I'm kind of medically inclined). So I went into Urgent Care, thinking maybe it was a stone, they'd break it up, no big deal.
Wrong. It WAS a stone, blocking the bile duct. So they had to take out the gallbladder.
Ow. This has been the most painful experience ever. (I should really stop saying that because, when I do, the universe goes "Oh really?!? Try this one for size.")
And now I'm out of work for two weeks. Sucky.

Then, I spent almost a week at my mom's house, where I think I tweaked my back. But, at home, my "bed" is two futon mattresses on the floor (classy, that) so I would have had a really hard time getting in and out of my bed. But I did get to spend some time with my nephew:
Never thought I'd say this, but I really miss living with this kid. He's just a delight to be around.
But now I'm home for another week before I can go back to work. I'm not well enough to do cleaning/organizing, but not sick enough to want to lie in bed all day. That's always the most frustrating part.
I'm worrying about money, even though I've already got November's rent covered (and probably bills for that month - the ones I don't, the roommates will float for me). I'm just a worrier, I guess.
