As far as I knew my food benefits was canceled the end of last month. I've been buying groceries but it's not stretching. I've been so hungry this month making sure my kids eat. I lost 7 pounds this month and my kids complained a little about not enough to eat.

I turn in my food application today and the caseworker said I just needed to change my address and I was good. I had $460 in food benefits sitting on my card all month!

I struggled for food money the last 3 weeks. Me and the baby stopped at Meijers on our way home and I spent $175 on groceries, everything was on sale. I stopped at this meat market and got $100 worth of pork chops (.99 lb), ribs (.99 lb) and new york strip (1.99 ) we have enough meat for 3 months.

I feel like Scarlet O Hara when she said she'd never go hungry again
