Nope, it doesn't have to be knitted or crocheted. We changed that as alot of people don't know how to do either so we even added in store bought dishcloths. I hope you join! :)

    COME JOIN THE FUN!!!!!

I don't know if this will be the first ever swap on FV or not but we are going to have one!

If you will to participate, send me your name and address by JUNE 15 th.

I will put all names in a box draw two at a time and match up swap partners.

You will then have until JULY 15 th to complete two - (2) dishcloths to send to your swap partner.

Whether you knit or crochet it is totally your decision. You can contact your swap partner, if you wish, to find out what color their kitchen so it matches their decor.

I will be placing an album in the picture section of FV so when you receive your dishcloths, take a picture and post in on the album. Make sure you include your name and swap partners name. (If you have trouble doing this, send them to me and I will be happy to place them on there for you)

We have such artistic, talented people and great cyber friends on FV let's spread it around!

LOL, yeah - we plan on canning quite a bit. Both for my house and my sisters. Plus, we're planning to bring some fresh produce to the food pantries and shelters around here.
Guess I'd best to get to collecting some recipes though, lol.

Hey, I am thinking about starting a group blog, one with multiple contributors and I have enjoyed the things you have written here and have followed your blog and was wondering if you wanted to partner with me.

I am patterning the blog after www.lifehacker.com only I want it to be about moms, kids and the home. Lifehacker has 3-5 editors and a ton of authors and I think that is part of what makes it so successful.

Would you like to write or copy some of the articles from your blog to a group one? Or would you rather that I just link to my favorite articles from your blog?

I don't really see this making any money, but if ad revenues climb (what am I talking about, magically appear is more like it) I will definitely share them. Let me know if this is something you'd be interested in.

Thanks Sarah. I wasn't sure if the recipe made kind of like an exfoliating soap....wanted to be sure. I am almost ready to try it....scared at the same time...but I want to do it on a rainy day so I am hoping Friday or Saturday since they are calling for rain then.

Sarah....in your receipe of soapmaking...do you have to use oatmeal? When you do use it...is it scratchy or does it just turn so soft that you don't even notice it is there? Thanks!

Thanks bunches!!! I loved that list the first time I read it and will definitely print it so I can refer to it often in those: "gotta have something for the kids to do" moments.

Hi there! It has been a few months, but you wrote a post awhile back about free things to do with kids. I loved it and wanted to re-read it to get inspired/motivated. I tried searching for it but couldn't find it... did you have a list sitting around somewhere? Am I thinking about another FV'er? TIA.

I am just off to post the recipe that I used with yours. :D It is called Crescent Rolls. The recipe makes ALOT! I had enough for your recipe which made 18 BBQ cups and then I had enough dough left over for 16 crescent rolls. Have a great day!
