There was a decent townhouse that came up for rent, I sent my mother over for a showing. She said it was nice, but the backyard is not fenced so we really wouldn't be able to use it. Busy street, hyperactive kids, and no fence make a pretty bad combination.

Anyway, there were 5 other couples looking at it at the same time. They had an online application form and I filled it in and sent it - but I left half of it empty so I doubt we will get it. I didn't mind sending our SIN numbers to the apartment complex because it was a professional management company. This one is just some random person, and they wanted not just the SIN, but our bank account number, credit cards, children's birth dates (I gave the years only), the VIN from our car, and a bunch of other stuff that was none of their business.

So, I'll just keep looking.
